This May, Kiefer Sutherland (Jack Bauer) and Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe) will be appearing on the Simpsons spoofing '24'. FOX will be airing two episodes of Simpsons that night and, depending on which airs first, one will have the honor of being the 400th aired episode of the Simpsons.
The episode will air May 20th, 2007. In the episode, the familiar '24' locale of CTU now stands for Counter Truancy Unit, an elite group of truant officers led by a Baueresque character. While it isn't confirmed, Kiefer no doubt will be chasing down a school-skipping Bart, 24-style.

The Park - Feb 2007
I went to visit my friends at The Park tradeshow. The show was amazing with the snowboard rail jam being the highlight. The Drop In platform was sitting at a sweet 5m high and there was a flat box and a C-box to play with too. Checkout the artwork from Shepard Fairey, D-Face and Matt Sewell.

Pedal by Peter Sutherland
Best-selling author Peter Sutherland’s newest title, Pedal, is a wild ride alongside a band of New York City’s most feared and respected inhabitants: bike messengers. In a book of photographs and a documentary on DVD, Sutherland follows the frenetic trips and lives of the cyclists who live by their own rules of the road.
In Pedal, Sutherland documents bike messengers competing in the 2005 Cycle Messenger World Championships in New York City. Going straight to the center of this urban subculture, Sutherland serves up compelling portraits of the competitors from dozens of countries, in motion and at ease, checking out each other’s bags, lingering over modifications to bikes and bodies. Between events like sprints, distance racing, and skid contests, Sutherland shows us the riders’ elegant physicality, complex individuality, and unique community that crosses boundaries of race, gender, age, and class. And he doesn’t shy away from the blood and bruises that come part and parcel with the messenger’s life. Sutherland delves deep into the world of the messengers—a world usually seen from the outside—and returns with a dynamic document that evokes the unbridled anarchy and energy of its inhabitants.
The accompanying DVD is a fast-paced documentary film about surviving in the streets of New York City as a bicycle messenger. It features messengers from all walks of life as they battle traffic in a race to make their next delivery on time. Directed by Sutherland and produced by Ana Lombardo, Pedal the documentary lets viewers live the spectacle of the delivery itself. It premiered in 2001 at
the South by Southwest film festival, and was later acquired by the Sundance channel, where it aired until 2004.

Micro Compact Home
Maybe I'll get one of these to go with my car!?
You think your house is small? Get a load of this 8.5-foot cube, the Micro Compact Home (m-ch). Even though its interior is a bit cramped, its architects tried to overcome that claustrophobic feeling with luxo-sport Euro design and plenty of windows. It's a lot cheaper than a regular house, too, selling for between $32,500 and $44,225.

Supreme X Nike SB Blazer
Old news now but these are dope!
Supreme have, once again, taken a Nike model - the blazer - and pushed the limits. In the spirit of the 1980’s retro bling (think flashy Gucci, MCM, Cazal) you’ll find a quilted leather upper combined with snakeskin and gold details. The new Supreme Nike Blazers, and the accompanying apparel, are the must-have pieces for the spring!

Top 10 Hacks on Flickr
One of the nice things about Flickr is that because of their open API a whole host of developers have built more and more interesting things to do with the site. It's interesting to me today that so many of the ways that I use Flickr are not even through the site as designed by Yahoo, but instead through the work of outside developers who are constantly creating new and interesting ways to experience the site. Today I thought I'd share what I think are the top 10 Hacks on Flickr.
This list is by no way exhaustive or complete, but as somewhat of a power user who uses the site every day I thought I'd offer some tools that you might want to try out. One note is that many of the best hacks on Flickr today are being done through Greasemonkey scripts. These will not work with Internet Explorer but will work with Firefox or Flock.
So on with the list...

Scott Campbell recently bought this laser machine that he has been throwing just about anything that could fit into it and then lasering graphics onto it!
JEREMY FISH - I'M WITH STUPID
Illustrator and skateboard artist Jeremy Fish (SLAP Magazine) finally has a collection of his work. Tons of his skateboards and skate-themed art, including the "Big Stupid" pieces for SLAP, plus lots of tattoo/flash inspired stuff, and plenty of plain old weird 'n' funny art.
A very clean, cartoony surrealism. "With an earnest dedication to honesty and a crackling sense of humor, Jeremy's work has the rare ability to express the intricacies of our culture with the clarity and salty wisdom of a grandfather's tale." -Tiffany Bozic.

Commodore 64
Ha! I had one of these...
6510, 0.985 MHz (PAL) and 1.02 MHz (NTSC). 20 Kbytes. 64 Kbytes. SID 6581, 3 channels of lovely sound. The chip is very impressive for it's time. [more] VIC-II, 16 colours, text resolution at 40 x 25. Graphics resolution at 320 x 200. [more] Tape interface or a 5 1/4" floppy drive that can store 170k/side. [more] By early 1982, Commodore had five new products in development, one of them being the infamous Commodore 64. Believing he had a winner, Tramiel took a gamble. He sidelined the other products and built up massive inventories of the C64. Then, he flew in the face of the computer industry by enlisting the same mass merchandisers (K-Mart,Toys "R" Us, Target, and others) that sold the Vic-20 to market the C64. By doing so, he proved that computer buyers didn't need to rely on the hand-holding of an elite class of computer-literate salespeople and their specialty store prices.
