Tourist information wherever you are
The eye-Phone runs on mobile telephones and works like this: If you see something interesting while out walking for instance, you take a photograph with your mobile phone and select the item of interest with the cursor. The object selected is then recognised and transmitted to a central system interfacing to databases on the internet to get information on the object. The information found is sent back to the phone and displayed to you. The eye-Phone won the regional prize for Bavaria, Germany in the 2007 European Satellite Navigation competition.

3G iPhone Evidence!
Well this was found inside the latest beta. If that's not enough for you to understand, I'll clarify it: There is a new iPhone coming *very soon*. The new iPhone will have Infineon's SGOLD3 (PMB8878)chip in it's baseband. Google can maybe help you to get more details. Stay tuned :)

BARRY MCGEE - They Don’t Make This Anymore
Last Sunday I went to see Barry McGee’s first major UK solo exhibition which includes a selection of existing and new works in an installation created specifically for BALTIC’s Level 2 gallery. Rooted in the spontaneity and immediacy of graffiti culture, McGee’s direct approach considers both the melancholy and humour of life. Disrupting ideas of property, surveillance and control, his uncontained practice incorporates damaged surfaces, flash movies and hundreds of ‘tape’ paintings to question the privatisation of public space.

Custom adidas x Marinoni Pista Crono
August 1, 2007 marked adidas Original’s introduction to Montreal. To celebrate this, Marinoni - one of North America’s most heralded bicycle builders - was asked to create a custom bike that captured the essence of adidas’s rich heritage and history in sports. Working with designers from Breadwinner Creative, Marinoni dreamt up this beautiful, one-of-a-kind track bike full of go-fast goodies that ooze style. This is the only bike of its kind worldwide.
Being deeply involved in athletics, community and charity, both Marinoni and adidas agreed to auction the bike off for a good cause. All proceeds of the winning bid, will be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. MS affects many Canadians especially young adults and every day, three more people are diagnosed with this disease. Marinoni and adidas are committed in supporting the on-going research needed to better understand and combat MS which affects young adults worldwide.
