Si Scott's Studio was established early 2006. The studio specializes in a unique blend of hand inked and penned design with a mix of modern & traditional typography. He works on a variety of projects including design, illustration & art direction for a wide range of prestigious clients including Hugo Boss, Volvo, Pentagram, Miller, Nike, Guinness, Orange, MTV, The BBC, Non Format and BBDO.

Si Scott Studio regularly exhibits & talks around the world. He will be showing at the Threadless gallery August 1st to September 2nd. His opening will be August 1st, from 7pm to 9pm and Si will be in attendance.

"100 Pieces of Havana" at Dray Walk Gallery

100 Pieces of Havana is a special one-off show that is taking place at London's Dray Walk Gallery. (I know some of you will be in the area). 100 artists were asked to participate by creating their own interpretation of the Havana Club Especial bottle. LIA HALLORAN, SKATER IN THE DARK

White lines of light crisscross and circle the Los Angeles skate parks and ditches of photographer Lia Halloran. Skating these locations at and capturing the image at night, she lets her light trail be the self-portrait and record of the evening. Tonight, ten of Halloran’s photographs are featured in Dark Skate, her second New York solo show, at DCKT Contemporary (195 Bowery at Spring St, New York, NY) from 6 to 8 PM, and stays up through September 13.

Le Mans Classic

I've just returned from Le Mans Classic, so I thought I would post some photos of the trip. I was lucky enough to be traveling from the North East to Portsmouth in an AC Cobra. After boarding the ferry and getting some sleep we continued to drive to Le Mans from Caen. Thanks to Mr. Zulu, Pricot, Dune-Bug, Rivet, Steve and Zippy & Bungle for a really good couple of days!

I came across some pics of Natas Kaupas. The image at the top is from the Rapha Roller Race, Portland Oregon 2008. The pic of the Bridgestone is listed - Owner: Natas, Location: Santa Monica, so I'm guessing that's his. Nice bike!!!

Nike SB Eugene Backpack

As part of their July '08 drop, Nike Skateboarding will also be releasing the Eugene backpack. The black backpack is the most technical to come from Nike SB. Many compartments and nice details speak for the Eugene.

It should be in stores in the coming week.
