A Short Interview With Jason Dill

Q: My final question is about Gino--a dude that has a cult following, I guess you could say--
A: Fuck yeah he does.

Q: What do you think is so iconic or transcendent about him or his skating?
A: Gino? You watch the guy push down the fucking street, and it's entertaining; it's beautiful. Nobody skates like that. Nobody looks like that on a skateboard at all anymore. All these kids are fuckin' jumpin' at shit and doing all this...
It would be insane to skate like Gino. No one skates like him. He's like a...like an ice skater.

San Francisco Bike Messenger Photo Book

Beryl Fine is a photographer based in San Francisco, who strives to find beauty in the unconventional; her photos are bold, yet they expose a frailty that is so inherent in human nature. For this project, she photographed 23 bike messengers, men and women, who are all represented in the book.

San Francisco Bicycle Messengers, a 100-page photo book, with a silk-screened cover illustrated by Mike Giant. A limited edition of 500 copies are available...

ALTERATIONS

After about 2 years of hard wear and no washes the time has come. I'm hoping these old faithfuls come through their first wash ok!

The legs have always been a little long so I might have them taken up. Maybe they'll have a new lease of life! It's something I haven't had done before, so looking for advice.

This recommendation comes from Stephen Mann - thenonplace.com. Click here...
