Supreme Timberline Jacket: A Closer Look

It was nice to get my hands on Supreme's Timberline jacket, one of the more classic pieces from this season. All cotton with a waxed finish, and flannel lining. Snap closure with lower hand pockets and corduroy collar. In my opinion a bargain at $188.00 USD.

Introducing R6...

Thanks to Glenn Kitson for sending through this first look at R6...

Forward thinking menswear label 6876 collaborate with Regent Belt Company for a truly unique clash of brands to create R6.

Named after the year of the French student revolution and the year that punk kicked off in the UK, 6876 was started in 1995 by Kenneth MacKenzie. Since conception 6876 has continued to develop and grow and is now one of the UK's only truly independent menswear labels.

Regent Belt company, a traditional leather working company has been around for over 40 years, making quality goods in the heart of the UK's traditional leather working industry, Northampton.

R6 brings these two brands together to fuse tradition, design and craftsmanship into a collection of bags, belts, wallets, card holders and lanyards.

Each item is crafted in Northampton by traditional artisans using Italian and Bridal leather with quality trimmings such as pewter buckles, fused with the subtle design flair of 6876's Kenneth Mackenzie, making a truly unique and exciting product.

The full range is being launched in Feb for S/S 10.

Bob Kronbauer dropped me a line about some recent developments at Crownfarmer. I spotted this book by Mike O'Meally, La Familia, a collection of photographs of amateur boxers in East LA. Will add that to my list...

Mike Martin (MASH SF) kindly invited me to take a look his MARTIN clothing line for spring 2010. I have been watching the brand closely since it was released, so it was great to get a chance to see the product first hand. Each piece was sharply tailored, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

The concept is an imaginative synthesis of modern cycling culture with a photographic aesthetic. Clean lines, simple silhouettes and thoughtful execution has brought these two worlds together...

Here's some shots from the studio, including a little preview of a couple garments for 2010.

Hopefully we will see some UK stockists soon.
