"Jody is a Vancouver local who has worked with some big name publications and brands through the work she does with her lens. She’s worked with Rolling Stone, Monocle, Corduroy Magazine, Color Magazine, i-D Magazine, and several others of the same calibre. Her shots have a certain warmth feeling of depth to them. I find they really convey more than just the subject but the mood of the space or setting. She has some great shots of people, and even better shots of people in beautiful outdoor settings. Her fashion photography doesn’t even feel like it’s fashion photography. She seems to be able to capture people (in nice clothes) in such a natural feeling and state that it seems more like she’s just hanging out with them, which I think would be very hard to actually try to accomplish.
